What types of rooms are available at The King’s Head Hotel?
We offer a variety of rooms including four poster, double, family, triple, and twin rooms, all with full en-suite facilities.
Is there wireless internet available in the rooms?
Yes, complimentary wireless internet is available throughout most of the hotel.
Are there facilities for guests with mobility issues?
Unfortunately, we do not have a lift, but please inform us in advance if you require assistance with stairs, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, we are dog-friendly, and most of our rooms can accommodate your furry friends. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a dog.
Parking
Is parking available at The King’s Head Hotel?
Yes, we have a car park on-site which is free for residents on a first-come basis. Additionally, there is a public car park nearby on New Street with pedestrian access to our car park.
What is the capacity of your car park?
Our car park can hold approximately 18 cars, and larger vehicles may find it easier to access via Palace Pound.
Do you accommodate electric vehicles?
We have two EV charging points on the EO network.
Check-in/Check-out
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Normal check-in time is between 3:00 pm and 10:30 pm, and check-out time is 11 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible but can incur a fee.
Dining
What are the opening times for the restaurant and bar?
The bar is open Sunday to Thursday from 12 pm to 10:30 pm and Friday to Saturday from 12 pm to 11 pm. The restaurant operates Tuesday to Saturday evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm, Sunday evenings from 6 pm to 8:30 pm, and Sunday lunch from 12 pm to 3 pm.
Is the restaurant open to non-residents?
Yes, our restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents. We recommend making a reservation in advance to guarantee seating.
Bar
What beverages are served at The King’s Bar?
We offer three hand-pulled traditional real ales, a range of spirits, liqueurs, wine by the glass or bottle, and a selection of classic cocktails.
Are food options available in the bar?
Yes, we offer a small range of homemade bar bites, and evening meals can also be served in the King’s Bar, although typically not at weekends.
What are the operating hours for The King’s Bar?
The bar is open Sunday to Thursday from 12 pm to 10:30 pm and Friday to Saturday from 12 pm to 11 pm. Evening meals are served Tuesday to Saturday from 6 pm to 9 pm and Sunday from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.
